The most important chemical compound of copper is Copper Sulphate pentahydrate, also called bluestone or blue vitriol. It is an odourless blue crystal that readily dissolves in water. Our Copper Sulphate is Blue crystals or blue crystalline granules or sugar crystals with minimum Cu content of 25% and above 99.25% pure.
In agriculture use, applied as Bordeaux Mixture before the fungus spores settle on the leaves, the Copper Sulphate gradually releases small amounts of soluble copper which kills the germinating spores. |
